HRH Prince Salman hails solid Bahrain-France ties

The Deputy King, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, commended the strength of Bahrain-France relations which continues to grow through multisector cooperation, noting the importance of consolidating the bilateral partnership across all levels to achieve mutual aspirations that benefit all.
The Crown Prince and Prime Minister was speaking as he met yesterday with the newly appointed Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, HE Eric Giraud-Telme, at Gudaibiya Palace.
HRH Prince Salman welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties. During the meeting, issues of common interest and regional and international developments were also discussed.
HRH the Deputy King noted the significant weight France holds on an international scale, recognising its pivotal role, alongside allied countries, in safeguarding regional and global safety and security, which are essential to economic development.
