HM King Hamad hails BDF’s courage and determination

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, expressed his appreciation and pride in all the brave members of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) for their constant keenness to carry out their national duties with courage and sincere determination.
HM the King yesterday visited the BDF General Command. Upon arrival, His Majesty was received by Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Lieutenant General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Commander of the Royal Guard’s Special Force, H.E. Lieutenant-General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Thiyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, the BDF Chief of Staff, and senior BDF staff.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces was briefed on future plans to further develop BDF units. HM King Hamad praised the success of ongoing Bahrain’s initiatives to provide urgent humanitarian aid to support Palestinians in Gaza, thanking all those who contributed. He stressed that the Kingdom stands with Palestine in this difficult time, expressing hope for security and peace in the region and the world.
