BBS chairperson attends ALU meet
The Arab Lawyers Union (ALU) coordination committees convened in Cairo, Egypt last Saturday with the Bahrain Bar Society (BBS) Chairperson Huda Al Mehza presiding over the ALU Women’s Committee.
She stressed Bahraini women’s landmark strides under the reform project, which was initiated by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. She also paid tribute to Wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) Chairwoman HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, for her crucial role in empowering women who are now holding senior positions in Bahrain and the region.
She hailed the role of Bahraini women in the judiciary, underscoring the importance of the reform project in providing them the opportunity to play an active role in their society and contribute to their country’s development and progress.
