The sanitation network project in Block 424 of the Jidhafs area in Bahrain has been successfully completed.
This was confirmed by Engineer Fathi Abdullah Al-Farea, Assistant Undersecretary for Sanitation at the Ministry of Works.
The project, part of the ministry’s efforts to enhance infrastructure development, aims to expand the sanitation service to cater to 126 properties.
The project involved the establishment of a pumping station to handle the complex’s wastewater, as well as the construction of a main sewer line spanning 1.6 km and a secondary sewer line spanning 1.3 km.
Additionally, 163 inspection rooms were built, and necessary road-paving work was completed within the project boundaries.
This initiative is part of the ministry’s broader plan to keep up with the Kingdom’s urban expansion by connecting various properties, including homes and buildings, to the sewage network.
This step contributes to creating a healthy, safe, and secure environment for residents.
The Ministry of Works extends its gratitude to the region’s residents for their cooperation during the project’s implementation period.
The project was awarded to Afaq Al Khaleej Excavation and Equipment Rental Company by the Tenders and Auctions Board, with a total cost of BD562,000.
