35 dead in Egypt road accident; Bahrain expresses sympathy

Bahrain extended its sympathy and solidarity to Egypt in the wake of a tragic road accident that claimed the lives of at least 35 individuals.
The accident, which occurred on the Cairo-Alexandria Desert Road and involved a bus and multiple cars, left over 50 people injured.
In an official statement, the Ministry conveyed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the Egyptian government, its people, and the families of the victims and their loved ones.
The statement also expressed wishes for the swift recovery of all those who sustained injuries in this unfortunate incident.
Images shared on social media depicted a scene of devastation, with an overturned lorry blocking the fast lane on charred asphalt.
Further along, there were at least one bus and a minibus, both extensively damaged by fire, as well as numerous cars, some of which were still engulfed in flames.
Onlookers stood by the roadside, observing the crash site, while queues of cars lined up nearby, with thick black smoke billowing into the air.
