Deputy Prime Minister lauds NCC’s key role

H.E. Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, has asserted that the attention attached to the national communication system in the kingdom reflects keenness to enhance communication and positive interaction with the citizens and all partners by using responsible media and harnessing its tools.

It highlights the achievements of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, he added.

While meeting Ahmed Khalid Al Araifi, the Chief Executive Officer of the National Communication Centre (NCC), the Deputy Premier lauded the role played by the NCC in unifying communication messages to integrate the efforts of the relevant agencies, and make sure that the government discourse reflects reality and is always available to those concerned at the local and international levels.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla was briefed about NCC’s plans, projects and initiatives, wishing the NCC chief and affiliates continued success. Al Araifi expressed thanks and appreciation to the Deputy Prime Minister for his constant keenness to enhance the performance of the national communication system for the benefit of the nation and the citizens.
