Bahrain praises Saudi Arabia’s World Cup hosting bid

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, expressed his immense delight regarding the latest announcement that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is close to securing the bid to host the prestigious 2034 World Cup.
HRH Prince Salman emphasised his complete confidence in Saudi Arabia’s ability to deliver a successful World Cup, thanks to the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud, the Crown Prince.
His Royal Highness commended Saudi Arabia’s commitment to meeting FIFA’s rigorous requirements for hosting the tournament, highlighting the potential economic and cultural benefits that such an event would bring to the region.
Shura Council Speaker Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh highlighted the remarkable capabilities and advantages of Saudi Arabia in hosting the event. He emphasised the country’s ability to earn the trust of the international sports community, leading to its selection as the host for the event.
Chairman Al Saleh sent a congratulatory telegram to Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Shura Council in Saudi Arabia, expressing pride in the kingdom’s achievements and comprehensive development.
Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam praised Saudi Arabia’s ability to organise international sporting events with the utmost competence and excellence.
