The High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs has already begun preparing for the Hajj season 1445 AH soon after the end of the last Hajj season through a series of preparatory meetings between the two countries’ ministries.
The move is in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the committee to align its work with the Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry, according to its new strategy.
This came as H.E. Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maada, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, yesterday received Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, who is on an official visit to the kingdom.
An extended Bahraini-Saudi meeting, attended by the two ministers, was held. It discussed areas of cooperation and coordination in the field of Hajj and Umrah as well as ways to strengthen joint work mechanisms within the framework of early preparations for the next Hajj season.Bahrain, Saudi Arabia discuss Hajj preparations
