RHF steps up efforts to provide aid to Palestinians

Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Secretary-General Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed held a meeting with Dr. Rami Al Nazer, CEO of the Egyptian Red Crescent, to discuss the urgent relief, medical, and food needs of the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The meeting was held under the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs.

Dr. Al Sayed, also Chief Executive of the National Committee for the Support of the Palestinians in Gaza, affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain stands firmly with the Palestinians, reflecting its unwavering commitment to the Palestinian cause and its humanitarian duty.

He emphasised the importance of extending a helping hand to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinians and instill hope in these challenging times. The campaign to support the people of Gaza has generated significant support from the people of Bahrain, with ongoing donations and plans for relief and development initiatives underway.

Dr. Al Nazer said that coordination is underway with state agencies in Egypt and the Rafah border crossing to facilitate the passage of trucks, stressing coordination with the Palestinian Red Crescent to receive aid and direct it to those affected by the crisis.RHF steps up efforts to provide aid to Palestinians
