Bahrain prioritises public health for adolescents and young people

Health Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Waleed Al Manea emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to promoting public health for all age groups, particularly the health of adolescents and young people.
He stated that increasing awareness of healthy behaviours and patterns among these groups is crucial to achieving sustainable development goals.
This statement was made during his attendance at the Gulf Day for School Health and the Health of Adolescents and Youth closing ceremony, organised by the School Health Section of the Public Health Department.
Dr. Al Manea expressed pride in the programmes and policies implemented by the Ministry to improve school health programmes, including a range of health, preventive, curative, psychological, and social services to achieve comprehensive health coverage.
