Shura Council approves Bahrain-Korea air services deal

The Shura Council yesterday approved the report of the Foreign Affairs, Defense and National Security Committee regarding a draft law ratifying the agreement between the governments of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Republic of Korea on air services between and beyond their regions.
The agreement aims to enhance ways of bilateral cooperation in the field of air services and supporting economic relations between the two countries in the field of air transport, in a way that serves the interests of consumers and economic development.
This agreement is considered one of the model bilateral agreements that achieve the interests of Bahrain, consolidate bilateral relations with Korea, enhance international cooperation in the field of air transport, and lead to keeping pace with developments that have occurred in the global air transport industry, as it includes all provisions related to air safety and aviation security.
