His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, directed the Ministry of Works to expedite the implementation of sustainable infrastructure solutions to rain-related issues across the Kingdom.

This follows the Cabinet’s review of a joint memorandum submitted by the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Minister of Works. The Cabinet extended its thanks to the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture for their efforts and swift response to the recent heavy rainfalls.

HRH Prince Salman yesterday chaired the weekly Cabinet meeting at Gudaibiya Palace. The Cabinet highlighted the importance of the discussions held between His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Majesty Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein.
