Bahraini Citizens’ welfare remains priority: HRH Prince Salman

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, affirmed the importance of continued collaboration between the executive and legislative authorities, and its pivotal role in serving the Kingdom and its citizens.

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with the Speaker of the Council of Representatives, HE Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, and the Chairman of the Shura Council, HE Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, at Gudaibiya Palace.

The Deputy Prime Minister, HE Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior, HE General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and several senior officials, also attended the meeting.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the role of members of the legislative authority to achieve citizen’s aspirations by developing the legislative system and supporting national workstreams.

He noted the Kingdom’s commitment to implementing development plans, programmes, and government services in cooperation with the legislative authority to benefit all. His Royal Highness affirmed that the Kingdom’s interest remains a main priority, and forms Team Bahrain’s efforts in furthering its comprehensive development, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Wide-ranging achievements

HRH Prince Salman outlined that the Kingdom’s wide-ranging achievements continue to be attained through Team Bahrain’s ongoing support and determination. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised the Kingdom’s support to Team Bahrain’s efforts to further wide-ranging national achievements, including security and stability, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain continues to prosper under the leadership of HM the King and the unity of its citizens.

Speaker Al Musallam and Chairman Al Saleh expressed their gratitude to HRH Prince Salman for his commitment to supporting cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities to achieve the Kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations.
