Time-bound instructions given to govt agencies: PM
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said that clear directives had been issued by the government to the Ministries and government agencies on following up the work progress and to stick to the timetables for the development programmes and service projects implemented to meet the requirements of citizens.
During a meeting with Parliament Chairman Ahmed Al Mulla, Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh and a number of members of both the councils here yesterday, HRH the Prime Minister underlined the development and growth Bahrain is undergoing in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Prince Khalifa urged all officials to be well prepared for the implementation of the government strategy for the benefit of the citizens.
HRH Premier, in response to a number of issues related to the government services raised by the attendees, pointed out the need for persistence to take on the economic challenges and to invest available opportunities to strengthen the development process witnessed by the country.
Prince Khalifa said that Bahrain had accomplished a series of development projects, chiefly the development of citizens, as the government’s top priority.
The Premier noted the Government’s vision, which has laid a solid foundation for strengthening cooperation between the executive and legislative for serving national goals. Former Council of Representatives Speaker Khalifa Al Dhahrani and senior Bahraini officials were also present.
