Workshops on addiction and internet security held in Bahrain

The Crime Prevention Directorate of the Public Security Presidency, in coordination with the Capital Governorate, has held two workshops on addiction risks and internet security at the Philippine Embassy.
Assistant Chief of Public Security for Community Affairs, Col. Mustafa Al Sayed, highlighted during the workshops the significance of cooperation with foreign communities as one of the Interior Ministry’s priorities to limit crimes.
He said that cooperation promotes community partnership and security awareness. Meanwhile, the Philippine Ambassador to Bahrain, HE Anne Louis, hailed the workshops for protecting people and general safety by adopting preventative measures. After the workshop, the participants toured an exhibition by Maan (together) programme against violence and addiction.
