Bahrain King hails AGU role as modern scientific institution

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the role of Arabian Gulf University (AGU) being one of the distinguished scientific and modern academic institutions, adding that it embodies cooperation between Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries.
HM the King was speaking as he received Dr. Saad bin Saud Al Fuhaid the newly appointed President of AGU. HM King Hamad praised AGU’s scientific and research contributions, lauding its achievements and distinguished position among various prestigious Arab and international universities.
He recalled the efforts of AGU’s former president, the late Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Ohali, and his role in serving the university. His Majesty affirmed that Bahrain will continue to support the university as it continues to build generations who contribute to the progress and prosperity of the GCC countries with their knowledge and qualifications.
HM the King wished Al Fuhaid every success in continuing the university’s pioneering journey and developing its programmes, curricula and specialities. The new AGU head expressed gratitude to HM the King for Bahrain’s suppor for the university to achieve its academic goals and visions.
