Shaikha Bahar wins Cityscape Real Estate Innovation Award

Shaikha Bahar's 'Sustainable smart neighbourhood vertical housing' project took home the top honour at yesterday's Cityscape Real Estate Innovation Award event.
In an interview with The Daily Tribune, Bahar stated that the objective of her effort was to build a technologically-equipped society.
Her project, implemented in Diyar Al Muharraq, incorporates technology into every facet of everyday living, from energy management to waste reduction. “I am very honoured to have won this award,” Shaikha Bahar said.
“I believe that this project has the potential to make a real difference in the lives of people in Bahrain. It is a model for how we can create sustainable and livable communities in the future.”
Abdulrahaman Showaiter and Ali Alqaraan claimed the second and third prizes, respectively at the award ceremony held at the Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
