Bahrain supports sustainability in various economic sectors

Sustainable Development Minister, HE Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif, affirmed Bahrain’s keenness to provide the latest measures to achieve sustainability in various sectors, which contribute to attracting investments and supporting economic development.

She highlighted Bahrain’s efforts to diversify its economy across various sectors, including real estate. The minister stressed the commitment to strengthening partnerships with the private sector to achieve Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2023.

Al Khulaif made the statements as she participated in the opening ceremony of Cityscape 2023 under the theme “Sustainability & Digital Transformation in Real Estate.” Future This year’s edition focused on the future sustainability of the real estate sector in Bahrain, as well as the sector’s contributions to achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Cityscape will provide participants with the opportunity to discuss topics related to the real estate sector particularly the importance of promoting sustainable development and encouraging investment in the sector, and the use of modern technology to develop it, she added.

During her speech, Al Khulaif mentioned Bahrain’s Voluntary National Review (VNR) on the progress made in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the United Nations High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2023, where she affirmed the kingdom’s commitment to achieving sustainability in various sectors including developmental, social, economic and environmental sectors.
