Enriching partnerships for Bahraini youth’s success

Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, has stressed the importance of continuing to support Bahraini youth and invest in national competencies in achieving sustainability in exploring the future by strengthening supportive international partnerships to enrich educational and academic achievements.

This will reflect positively on achieving the goals of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness said.

HH Shaikh Nasser was speaking while meeting a group of students and researchers from the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at US-based Yale University, as part of their visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.

His Highness praised the Yale Jackson Institute for Global Affairs and its educational outcomes, as well as the scientific and creative weight of its students, highlighting the importance of continuing to hold such mutual visits, meetings and constant communication between young people and academics from various countries, as they are ambassadors and leaders of the future.

He referred to the steadily-growing strategic Bahrain-US partnership across various fields, resulting in the signing of a number of agreements and memoranda of cooperation, the most prominent of which was the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA), aiming to enhance cooperation for the benefit of the future generations.

His Highness also reviewed the Kingdom’s support for various aspects of international and regional cooperation, to establish the principle of just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East region, as a strategic option for the security and prosperity of its peoples, calling on young people to intensify their scientific endeavours to achieve more progress and success.
