Bahrain and China vow to boost judicial partnership

Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Ahmed Al Buainain, President of the Constitutional Court affirmed the importance of developing cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and China, and creating future opportunities to enhance the efficiency of the judicial system.
Al Buainain received Zhang Xue Qiao, Deputy Prosecutor General of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate of China and his accompanying delegation. The official visit aimed at learning about Bahrain’s experience with the constitutional court work.
The delegation toured the Supreme Court’s main headquarters. They were briefed on its history since its establishment in 2002 within the comprehensive development process of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. As well as the court’s jurisdiction in resolving legal disputes related to the constitutional laws, regulations, and procedures.
