Bahrain King appoints key ministry officials

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday issued Decree (105) of 2023, appointing undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications, based on a proposal by the Transportation and Telecommunications Minister, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

The decree stipulates the appointment of the following officials at the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunications: Maryam Adnan Abdulla Al Ansari, Undersecretary for Land Transportation and Post; Bader Hood Yousef Mahmoud Al Mahmood, Undersecretary for Ports and Maritime Affairs, Dr. Khalid Abdulrahman Al Haidan, Assistant Undersecretary for Post; Mohammed Yousef Mohammed Al Murbati, Assistant Undersecretary for Maritime Affairs; Salman Nabeel Mohammed Shakeeb, Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Affairs; and Shaikh Mohammed bin Ibrahim bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Assistant Undersecretary for Resources and Information.

The Transportation and Telecommunications Minister shall implement the provisions of this royal decree, which takes effect upon its issuance, and will be published in the Official Gazette. His Majesty issued Decree (106) of 2023, appointing Nani Mohammed Yousif Butti as Director-General of Planning and Resources at the Secretariat General of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), based on the nomination of the SCYS Chairman, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

Chief executive

HM King Hamad issued Decree (104) of 2023, appointing Dr. Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari as the chief executive of National Health Regulatory Authority Bahrain (NHRA), based on a nomination by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), and following the approval of the Cabinet.

HM the King issued Decree (103) of 2023, appointing Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi as the chief executive of Primary Health Care Centres, based on a proposal by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and the Prime Minister, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

His Majesty issued Decree (102) of 2023, appointing Dr. Maryam Athbi Al Jalahma as the chief executive and Dr. Rajaa Sayed Hassan Al Yousif as the deputy chief executive of the Government Hospitals, based on a proposal by the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) and the Prime Minister, and following the approval of the Cabinet.

HM King Hamad issued Decree (101) of 2023, appointing Dr. Lulwa Rashed Showaiter and Dr. Samia Ali Bahram shall as undersecretary and assistant undersecretary, respectively, at the Minister of Health, based on a proposal by the Minister of Health and following the approval of the Cabinet.

His Majesty issued Decree (100) of 2023, appointing Ebrahim Ali Al Nawakhda as the secretary general of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), based on a proposal by the chairman of the SCH and following the approval of the Cabinet. HM the King issued Decree (99) of 2023, appointing Sarah Ishaq Murtadha as a coordinator at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), based on a proposal by the Prime Minister and following the approval of the Cabinet.
