The Ministry of Youth Affairs has affirmed its ongoing coordination with relevant authorities to monitor the allocation of lands for “youth empowerment” centres that currently operate from rented premises instead of permanent ones.

This statement came in response to a parliamentary question posed by Member of Parliament, Hassan Ibrahim.

The ministry further explained that it is actively working on expanding and diversifying the range of youth programmes, activities, and events. These efforts align with a clear strategy and are based on the available resources and capabilities.

The aim is to discover and nurture young talents, showcasing their abilities at local, regional, and international levels.

Highlighting the ministry’s commitment to supporting youth centers, it was revealed that the Kingdom currently hosts 38 youth empowerment centers.

These include 15 in the Northern Governorate, 10 in the Capital Governorate, 9 in the Southern Governorate, and 4 in Muharraq Governorate.

The ministry emphasised its dedication to fostering the potential of young individuals, recognising their crucial role in nation-building.
