ILA Sneha team visits Indian Embassy

The children of ILA Sneha Recreation Centre, run by the Indian Ladies Association, met Indian Ambassador to Bahrain HE Vinod K. Jacob on 22 November at the Embassy garden.
ILA Sneha Coordinators Nisha Rangarajan, Deepa Devnarayan and Anuradha Sampath, along with the teachers Sharmila and Jisha, gave an insight on the all-round development of children at the centre starting from basic life skills to working on computers.
They are introduced to a wide spectrum of skills apart from the conventional curriculum which includes painting, cooking, music, dancing, yoga amongst other things. The children recited a poem with actions along with the ILA Sneha Coordinators, teachers and volunteers.
Ambassador Jacob commended this initiative by ILA President Sarada Ajith, along with the children, presented the Ambassador an assortment of diyas painted by the ILA Sneha children. ILA Sneha Diyas were gifted by the children to Shri. Ihjas Aslam C.S., Second Secretary (POL & PIC), and the embassy staff.
