Speaker hails Bahraini healthcare system strides

Council of Representatives Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam has affirmed parliamentary support for Bahraini medical competencies, in light of the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Speaker Al Musallam lauded the strides made by the kingdom’s health system thanks to the efforts of the members of Team Bahrain, highlighting the Council of Representatives’ keenness to support the employment of Bahraini youth in the medical and nursing fields, develop the institutional health work, and discuss ways to achieve the aspirations of the medical staff, as well as continue to enact legislation and laws that contribute to enhancing the health services and increase medical achievements.
He made the statements while receiving yesterday Dr. Amer Ibrahim Al Derazi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Medical Society (BMS), and Dr. Amal Al Ghanim, BMS Deputy Chairperson, in the presence of MPs Rafiq Al Hussaini, Chairman of the Services Committee, Maryam Saleh Al Dhaen, Dr. Mahdi Abdulaziz Al Shuwaikh, and Dr. Hesham Ahmed Al Asheeri.
BMS Chairman expressed thanks and appreciation to the Speaker and MPs for their unwavering support for continuing to develop the healthcare-related legislative system, as well as support Bahraini medical cades and health sector graduates.
