HM King Hamad highlights Bahrain’s rich history and culture

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa said Bahrain’s distinguished global status was the outcome of its historical and cultural connections with other civilisations, as well as cultural and social landmarks which stand witness to the richness of the history of Bahrain and its people.
HM the King was speaking as he received, at Al Sakhir Palace yesterday, HE Shaikh Ali bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Advisor at the Royal Court, who presented His Majesty with a book entitled “Explore Beyond”, covering various aspects of the kingdom’s history and culture.
Shaikh Ali bin Abdulla was accompanied by Jani Lotric, the author of the book, which was published by Diplomatic Protocol Communications in partnership with National Geographic.
HM King Hamad highlighted the importance of the book’s content as it sheds light on Bahrain’s civilisation, as well as its historical, cultural, geographical, and environmental landmarks.
