Marking a pivotal stride towards innovation, Bahrain’s House of Representatives has greenlit an urgent proposal propelling the establishment of a centre committed to cultivating rare skills among the nation’s innovators and inventors.

Beyond mere approval, this landmark decision highlights a strategic emphasis on harnessing and promoting registered patents within the Kingdom. With an overarching objective of exploring uncharted realms of knowledge, the move seeks to ignite a spirit of challenge within Bahraini society, setting the stage for a new era of intellectual advancement and creative exploration.

The proposal, championed by representatives Muneer Seroor, Lulwa Al Romaihi, Mohammed Al Ahmad, Maryam Al-Dhaen, and Dr. Mahdi Al Shuwaikh, is positioned as a strategic initiative to bolster Bahraini citizens, tapping into their exceptional intellectual capacities across various domains.

Representative Muneer Seroor, a leading advocate of the proposal, asserted that their vision seeks to galvanize Bahraini talents scattered globally, including those making substantial contributions in Gulf countries and scientific research centres.

The crux of the proposal revolves around the establishment of a national centre designed to activate the ideas of creators and innovators. This initiative aims to cultivate a culture of participation across all segments of society, including prominent figures, youth, retirees, and mature individuals.

Seroor emphasized, “Encouraging all segments of society to participate with their different and fruitful initiatives, both positive and negative, is essential. This centre will serve as a platform to unleash the diverse potential within our society and elevate our status among nations.”
