Curtain raiser for 15th Annual Conference of Bahrain Chapter of ICAI (BCICAI)

A galaxy of chartered accountants in the Kingdom and across the globe will be gathering in the Kingdom of Bahrain over this weekend for the 15th Annual Conference organized by Bahrain Chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (BCICAI).

The details of the event was briefed at the press conference held yesterday at the Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Manama by the organisers.

The theme for this year’s conference is “ABOVE & BEYOND” covering a wide gamut of topics ranging from Leadership, Sustainability, Geopolitics, Human Potential, Healthy living and so on.

The conference is being held on the 1st & 2nd of December 2023, at the Diplomat Radisson BLU Hotel, Residence & Spa.

The highlight of the inaugural session will be the keynote address by the Indian Cabinet Minister Shri. CA Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Textiles and Leader of the House, Rajya Sabha.

Others distinguished invitees include His Excellency Shri Vinod K Jacob, Ambassador of India to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Mr. Abbas Radhi, Chairman Bahrain Accountant Association, Swami Nirbhayananda, Chinmaya Mission India and Mr. Jassim Abdulaal, Managing Partner Grant Thornton Abdulaal.

Acclaimed speakers

Over the two days, the audience will be enlightened by acclaimed speakers from various walks of life including Padma Bhushan Shri. Nambi Narayanan, who will be speaking on the topic Life under Public Scrutiny, Retired Air Marshal Shri. P V Iyer, who will be taking us through the topic Health for Professionals – Age is not an excuse, Swami Nirbhayananda on Human Potential Unlimited, Shri. Parameswaran Iyer, World Bank Executive Director, Ex Niti Ayog on the role of leadership in uncertain times, CA Anil Singhvi, Managing Editor, ZEE Business.

All the members who are registered and attending the event would be eligible for CPE (Continuing professional education) of 12 hours which can benefit their mandatory annual requirements.
