Bahrain King attends UAE's 52nd Union Day celebration; hails deep-rooted ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa attended the official celebration of the 52nd Union Day of the United Arab Emirates alongside Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE President, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister, and Dubai Ruler, along with their highnesses and members of the UAE Federal Supreme Council.
The event took place at Expo City Dubai. Leaders, heads of government, and representatives from countries participating in the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), currently held in Dubai, UAE, were also present. His Majesty King Hamad expressed heartfelt congratulations to the UAE President, Vice President, members of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, and the brotherly Emirati people on their National Day.
HM the King affirmed that since its founding, thanks to the sound policies and efforts of the late His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may Allah rest his soul in eternal peace, the UAE has made significant strides in political, economic, developmental, scientific, cultural, and educational fields, establishing itself among leading and developed countries.
HM the King lauded the UAE’s strong regional and international presence, highlighting its global initiatives to promote human values of coexistence, tolerance, and cooperation among peoples, as well as its efforts to achieve goodness, development, and prosperity for the benefit of all humanity.
HM King Hamad praised the robust, long-standing fraternal Bahrain-UAE relations led by ancestors and forefathers, affirming that the UAE holds a special place in the hearts of all Bahrainis.
HM the King emphasised that the UAE’s honourable historical stances towards the Kingdom will remain engraved in the memory of the Bahraini people, reflecting the solid fraternal ties between the two countries and their peoples. The HM King wished the UAE and its people further glory, progress, and prosperity.
