People with inspiring life stories honoured

Under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) organised its seventh annual forum, themed “Hekayati” (My Story), at The Art Hotel in Amwaj.
An elite group of speakers, specialists, and people with inspiring life experiences from Bahrain and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, in addition to the winners of the “Hekayati” competition, were present.
As many as 450 participants from government and private state institutions and secondary school students attended the forum. On the occasion, HH Shaikh Nasser extended utmost thanks, appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the RHF Honorary President, for HM’s constant support for various RHF’s programmes.
His Highness stressed that the RHF’s annual forums, attended by a large number of community members and specialists from Bahrain and abroad reflect the keenness to enable everybody to contribute to the RHF’s programmes.
HH Shaikh Nasser asserted that the participation of a large number of people with inspiring life stories in the competition confirms their desire to document their real-life experiences for the upcoming generations. He expressed pride in the participating stories that show everyone’s impact on life, and their services to the nation, valuing highly the rich experiences of the participants from Kuwait and the UAE.
Shaikh Adnan bin Abdulla Al Qattan, Deputy Chairman of the RHF Board of Trustees, addressed the ceremony, commending the constant support of HM the King and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the RHF, paying tribute to HH Shaikh Nasser for his patronage of the RHF’s annual forum.
He highlighted the RHF’s keenness to hold social events to promote effective community partnership with community institutions and involve everyone in its programmes and initiatives. Dr. Mustafa Al Sayed, RHF Secretary-General, in his statement, underlined the RHF’s keenness to hold its annual forum to showcase its prestigious status and noble mission.
