Bahrain King takes part in GCC Summit closing session

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, along with the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), participated yesterday in the closing session of the 44th Summit of the GCC Supreme Council.
Chaired by His Highness Shaikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Amir of the State of Qatar, the session was also attended by Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Guest of Honour of the event. HM the King also attended a lunch banquet hosted by HH Shaikh Tamim.
It is held in honour of Their Majesties and Highnesses, leaders of the GCC countries, on the occasion of Qatar’s hosting of the summit. Following the lunch banquet, HM the King bid farewell to the Qatari Amir and other GCC leaders.
HH Shaikh Tamim delivered a speech in which he expressed pleasure at the fraternal spirit that had prevailed throughout the day-long 44th GCC Summit, praising the GCC leaders’ understanding, objective discussions and wisdom in taking the right decisions.
