Embracing cutting-edge technology and innovative design, the International Motor Trading Agency (IMTA), a subsidiary of the KE Kanoo Group, announced the launch of the latest version of the JAC JS6 mid-size SUV in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Hailing from China’s Anhui Jianghuai Automobile Company (JAC Motors), the JS6 is set to redefine driving experiences with its stylish exterior, high-end technology, and outstanding performance. As the exclusive authorized distributor of the JAC Motors brand in Bahrain, IMTA unveiled the SUV, emphasizing its sporty aesthetics and advanced technological features.
The JS6, designed in Italy’s Turin, a global center of excellence in design, boasts world-class quality, drawing on the technical expertise of the Volkswagen group, VW quality management, and Bosch safety standards.
The flagship JS6 SUV introduces significant upgrades, featuring new technologies and major enhancements. Built on a new platform designed to be automated, modern, and modular, the JS6 is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged direct-injection petrol engine, delivering a robust 182 horsepower and 280 newton-meters of torque.
Impressively, the car accelerates from 0-100km/h in just 9.8 seconds, paired with a six-speed dual-clutch transmission and available in a two-wheel drive.
Touch of luxury
Step inside, and the JS6 reveals a spacious and comfortable interior, accommodating both passengers and cargo with ample legroom and headroom.
The infotainment system is both user-friendly and feature-rich, showcasing a large touchscreen display. For those seeking a touch of luxury, the JS6 offers a sunroof, heated seats, and a premium sound system.
Safety is paramount with standard specifications, including six airbags and the implementation of Modular Intelligence Structure (MIS), a concept enhancing intelligence and adaptability. The MIS system breaks down the vehicle’s complex systems into smaller, interconnected modules, ensuring a seamless driving experience.
The JS6 also excels in infotainment and connectivity, featuring a 24.6-inch dual screen, 64-color rhythm ambient light, and smartphone wireless charging with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. With a vast boot space of 1080 liters (after back seat folding), the JS6 provides flexibility for cargo, and its rear flat floor adds to the center passenger’s comfort.
Seating comfort
Beyond comfort features like the hot and cold dual-mode armrest box, bi-zone automatic air conditioning, and an auto tailgate for opening, the JS6 prioritizes seating comfort with driver and co-pilot automatic seats equipped with seat waist support.
Adding a touch of sophistication, the JS6 boasts a cutting-edge front lighting system with LED headlights and DRLs, complemented by stylish and functional rear lights. The intuitive gear selection process simplifies the driving experience, emphasizing ease of use.
Safety features abound with the steering wheel return reminder function, promoting vehicle stability, reducing driver fatigue, and ensuring safe driving habits. The JS6 is also equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) features, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane departure warning, Lane-keeping assist, Blind Spot Detection, Intelligent light switch, and Traffic Jam Assistant.
