ILA honoured for volunteer work

The Ministry of Social Development honoured ILA Bahrain for its impactful volunteer efforts in serving the Bahraini community.
The recognition ceremony, held on International Volunteer Day (December 6, 2023), was presided over by Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al-Asfoor.
During the event, Minister Al-Asfour presented the ILA with a certificate of appreciation, praising the dedication of Bahrain's people to volunteer work and their substantial contributions to the nation's development under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Sarada Ajith, the President of ILA, expressed gratitude for the recognition, emphasising ILA's commitment to community service and volunteerism. As the first Ladies Association in the GCC, ILA operates the ILA Sneha Recreation Centre, providing free services for children with special needs in Bahrain.
