Bahrain’s fallen servicemen hailed for sacrifices

Lieutenant-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, National Security Advisor, and Royal Guard Commander, paid tribute to Bahrain’s fallen servicemen. He affirmed that their names and sacrifices will remain a source of pride for everyone, and will always be remembered by Bahrainis.
HH Shaikh Nasser was speaking as a ceremony, under his patronage, was held yesterday to mark Commemoration Day by the Royal Guard in Bahrain Defence Force (BDF). Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, attended the ceremony.
HH Shaikh Nasser said that Commemoration Day was a national occasion launched by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces in recognition of the sacrifices of the late serviceman, noting that it was an opportunity to draw inspiration from their loyalty to the leadership and the nation, as well as sacrifices and patriotism.
HH Shaikh Nasser said Commemoration Day is marked with pride and appreciation by the leadership. Citizens are keen to commemorate this anniversary to honour the fallen servicemen in a manner that reflects the significance of this occasion and the status of the fallen, HH Shaikh Nasser said.
