Bahrain committed to boosting UAE relations

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, highlighted the Kingdom’s dedication to boost relations between Bahrain and the UAE.

HRH Prince Salman affirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to pursuing mutual aspirations, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the UAE President, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

His Royal Highness made the statements as he received yesterday the outgoing UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, His Excellency Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, at Riffa Palace to mark the end of his tenure.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister commended the longstanding Bahrain-UAE relations as well as the joint visions and strategic partnerships that characterise it. He praised the efforts of HE Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan in advancing bilateral relations to benefit both nations and wished him success in his future endeavours.

During the meeting, they discussed regional and global developments and opportunities for future cooperation. HE Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to meet with His Royal Highness and noted HRH’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom further progress and prosperity.

HiH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, also attended the meeting.
