BIC set for fireworks display on Friday

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) will be hosting a spectacular fireworks display this Friday evening, on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain's celebration of its National Days, in commemoration of the establishment of the modern Bahraini State as an Arab, Muslim state founded by Ahmed Al Fateh in 1783, and the anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s Accession to the Throne.

The brilliant show of lights and colour is scheduled for a 7:00 pm start at "The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East".

All are invited to enjoy the spectacle free of charge, which is one of the biggest fireworks displays held annually on the island.

The fireworks will be light the night sky above Sakhir and it can be enjoyed from BIC as well as from the surrounding area.

Ahead of the event, BIC has issued the following guidance to those planning on attending the fireworks:

• Spectators are advised to arrive early ahead of the 7:00 pm start, in order to avoid delays due to the large crowds expected.

• Parking in BIC car parks will be available free of charge. Spectators should follow parking directions provided on arrival.

• Food vendors will be available in car parks for those coming to watch.

• Spectators can tune their radios to 107 FM for music synced to the show.
