Nominations open for productive families award

Nominations are currently being accepted for the 17th local and eighth Arab editions of the "Her Royal Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa Award for Productive Families.”

The Ministry of Social Development plans to announce the winners in February 2024, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, the Social Development Minister, has urged Bahraini productive families to submit their applications for the award by registering on the official website (www. social.gov.bh) from January 8 to February 16.

Participants are required to submit their products in person at the Mubarak Kanoo Social Centre in Sanabis during official working hours. For food products, only participation forms will be accepted, and the date for receiving samples will be communicated directly to participants in February 2024.

The evaluation for the best supporter of productive families will consider the type of care provided, duration, continuity, and methods used to enhance the project. This year, three awards will be presented: the best productive family, the best producer, and the best sponsor and supporter of productive families, distributed to winners from Arab countries. The celebration for award winners will include a three-day exhibition aimed at showcasing distinctive products.
