Bahrain receives new Pakistani Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, received yesterday the newly appointed Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain Saqib Rauf at Riffa Palace.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed Ambassador Rauf to the Kingdom and wished him success in performing his diplomatic duties. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister emphasised that Bahrain-Pakistan relations are built on strategic partnerships that continue to progress at all levels.

HRH commended the strength of bilateral cooperation across all domains, highlighting the importance of sustaining and furthering relations to achieve common goals. Issues of common interest and regional and global developments were also discussed during the meeting.

Ambassador Rauf expressed his gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s commitment to fostering cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan for the benefit of both countries and their people, and wished the Kingdom of Bahrain continued progress and prosperity. His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa also attended the meeting.
