Bahrain Health Ministry recommends COVID-19 bivalent booster shots for children

The Ministry of Health called on guardians to administer the latest bivalent booster shot against COVID-19 and its variants to their children aged 5-11.
Dr. Basma Al Saffar, Head of the Disease Control Department at the Health Ministry, said that the vaccine is available in Halat Bu Maher Health Centre, Hamad Kanoo Health Centre and Shaikh Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah Health Centre.
Guardians can take their children to the health centers without making an appointment, adding that the vaccination will be available from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
Dr. Al Saffar emphasised the importance of vaccination for enhancing immunity and reducing the symptoms of the virus and its complications.
