Bahrain King directs to intensify efforts for Bahrain’s comprehensive development

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has called to intensity efforts to push Bahrain’s comprehensive development process forward, with the aim of increasing national achievements and enhancing progress to serve the Kingdom’s citizens and strengthen its international status.

HM the King directed this yesterday as he received at Al Sakhir Palace senior officials, including HM the King’s Personal Representative His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

Also in attendance were HM the King’s Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs Representative and National Security Advisor His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Supreme Council for Youth and Sports First Deputy Chairman, General Sports Authority President and Bahrain Olympic Committee chief His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa; Royal Court Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa; Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa; Foreign Affairs Minister Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani; and BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant-General Theyab bin Saqr Al Noaimi.

The meeting also focused on the general regional situation, in addition to a number of local issues.  HM the King expressed thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the Shura Council Chairman, the Representatives Council’s Speaker, MPs, ministries, public and private institutions, the citizens, and residents for the noble feelings they had expressed and all the festivities they had held on the occasion of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s celebration of its national days, the anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne, and the accompanying national events. 

Those feelings and celebratory events reflected the patriotism and authenticity of the Bahraini people, HM the King said, extending thanks to all well-wishers on the national days.
