Ma’ameer Area road development project begins

The Works Ministry has announced the start of a road development project in Block 633 of the Ma’ameer area in the Capital Governorate.
The project, spanning four kilometres in length, aims to enhance the internal road network and improve traffic safety in the area. According to the Ministry, the project includes various activities such as dirt leveling, laying backfill layers, and asphalt paving.
Additionally, a rainwater drainage network will be constructed, ground services will be protected, and new lighting poles, traffic signs, and ground lines will be installed to ensure the safety of road users.
The project, awarded to Kingdom Asphalt Company LLC by the Tenders and Auctions Board, will cost a total of BD1,489,068.
The Ministry of Works urges citizens, residents, and individuals in the area to cooperate and adhere to the indicative warning signs during the project implementation period to ensure their safety.
