HM King Hamad lauds progress of solid Bahraini-Omani ties

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa commended the pioneering role played by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik Al Said of Oman in strengthening the solid Bahraini-Omani relations.
HM the King praised the progress witnessed by the Sultanate, under the leadership of HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik. HM King Hamad was speaking as he received, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, at the Al Safriya Palace yesterday.
HH Sayyid Theyazin conveyed to HM King Hamad greetings and appreciation from HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, as well as his wishes for abundant health and happiness to HM the King, and continued progress to Bahrain.
HM the King welcomed HH Sayyid Theyazin, and requested him to convey his greetings to HM Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, and wishes for further progress and prosperity to the Omani people. HM the King exchanged cordial talks with HH Sayyid Theyazin, affirming his pride in the solid deep-rooted fraternal bilateral relations, which are growing steadily, in light of the two countries’ keenness to constantly develop them to meet the aspirations of their peoples.
HM King Hamad conferred the Order of Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa-First Class on HH Sayyid Theyazin in recognition of HH’s role in enhancing the Bahraini-Omani relations. HH Sayyid Theyazin expressed thanks and appreciation to HM the King for conferring the prestigious order on him, praising the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to him during his visit to the kingdom.
