Bahrain committed to advancing US strategic ties

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, emphasised the ongoing advancement of bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US within the framework of a long-standing, strategic relationship and numerous joint agreements, including the recently signed Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA).

HRH Prince Salman was speaking as he met yesterday with a delegation from the US Congress, led by Senator Joni Ernst, at Riffa Palace. His Royal Highness highlighted the mutual commitment to advance coordination and cooperation between the two countries and to achieve common goals regionally and globally.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister noted the role of the US, alongside other allies, in bolstering global peace and security. He underscored the importance of a unified effort to foster regional and global peace and sustainable development.

HRH Prince Salman and the delegation discussed issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Labour Fund (Tamkeen), HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, also attended the meeting.
