Supreme Committee for Integrated Industrial Partnership meeting set

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the nation is set to host the fourth meeting of the Supreme Committee for Integrative Industrial Partnership for Sustainable Economic Development.

The event, scheduled for today and tomorrow, will convene member states, including the United Arab Emirates, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Kingdom of Morocco, to discuss the latest developments and industrial projects within the framework of sustainable industrial partnership.

His Excellency Mr. Abdullah bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, welcomed this significant gathering, emphasizing the ambitious goals it aims to achieve.

He highlighted the importance of the distinguished partnership between member states and the positive results expected in aligning with the visions and aspirations of their leaders amidst global developments.

The overarching objective of the member states is to attain qualitative and sustainable growth in the industrial sector. This involves resource and industry integration, leveraging competitive advantages in each country through collaborative efforts to reduce costs, secure supply chains, create more qualitative opportunities, and contribute to economic development, self-sufficiency, growth, and industrial competitiveness.

Anticipated announcements include new agreements reinforcing the partnership, empowering the industrial sector in the five countries, increasing its contribution to the gross domestic product, supporting supply chains, and reducing costs.
