Bahrain’s security and stability aligned with royal vision

The Interior Minister, His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, has asserted that Bahrain is blessed with security and stability in line with the royal vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

He pointed out the role of joint efforts in enhancing security through purposeful programmes and initiatives and the importance of continuing these efforts to improve comprehensive security within the framework of security cooperation and coordination between brotherly and friendly countries.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah made the statement during his visit to Austria where he was received by the Federal Minister of the Interior, Gerhard Karner.

Acting Chargé d’Affairs at the Mission of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the United Nations in Geneva, Hassan Musa Shafi’i, and members of the delegation accompanying HE the Interior Minister attended the event.

The Austrian official welcomed HE the Interior Minister, asserting the importance of the visit to promote cooperation and coordination to achieve common goals. Cooperation The meeting discussed cooperation, exchange of experiences, and development of capabilities in all areas of security work in light of the security changes and challenges the world is witnessing, and in a way that contributes to maintaining and strengthening security, in addition to the importance of building on future visions to achieve security.

HE the Interior Minister and his Austrian counterpart signed a “Declaration of Intent” between the Ministries of the Interior of the two countries as part of work to strengthen security cooperation in law enforcement and criminal justice.

It was agreed to activate the declaration through communication and coordination between the two sides.
