Bahrain King urges global cooperation for Gaza on Diplomatic Day

On Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa called for intensified efforts to bring an end to the tragic war in the Gaza Strip.

Emphasizing the protection of defenceless civilians and the delivery of relief aid in accordance with international humanitarian law, His Majesty stressed the importance of working towards a political settlement that supports the Palestinians’ right to establish an independent state.

HM underscored the significance of adhering to the twostate solution and international legitimacy resolutions.

Expressing gratitude to Bahraini ambassadors for their diplomatic endeavours in fostering relations, King Hamad stated that this should be a priority in national diplomatic efforts.

HM King Hamad affirmed that Bahraini diplomacy serves as a solid model reflecting the nation’s identity, aiming to contribute to constructive cooperation and global solidarity.

His Majesty highlighted the Bahraini belief that peace diplomacy and global solidarity are essential for promoting global security, prosperity, and lasting peace.

HM King Hamad expressed confidence in Bahrain’s foreign policy, emphasising its commitment to reason, dialogue, and adherence to all laws, norms, and charters.

Separately, HM King Hamad, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, exchanged greetings with ministers, Royal family members and top officials on the occasion.
