HM King Hamad's visions hailed on Diplomatic Day celebration

Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, pointed out that the celebration of the Diplomatic Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain reflects His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s appreciation of and great interest in the diplomatic work and diplomats.
Dr. Al Zayani the occasion highlighted HM the King’s belief in the constructive active role played by Bahraini diplomacy in consolidating friendly relations and cooperation with brotherly and friendly countries, preserving the interests of the homeland and citizens at home and abroad, in addition to spreading the values of peace, tolerance, coexistence and human fraternity, as well as strengthening international cooperation with other countries, in accordance with the rules of international law and international conventions.
The minister made the statements during his speech yesterday as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held a ceremony on the occasion of the Diplomatic Day of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Senior officials at the Ministry, heads of diplomatic and consular missions of Bahrain abroad, in addition to the administrative and diplomatic staff of the Ministry, were also present in the event.
Dr. Al Zayani conveyed the greetings of HM King Hamad and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to the attendees, wishing them success in performing their national duties and advancing Bahraini diplomacy towards its goals of implementing the foreign policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain and realising the aspirations of the leadership.
He also expressed his deep pride in the distinguished achievements of Bahraini diplomacy and its honourable presence in all fields for nearly 55 years of dedication loyalty, in accordance with a balanced and effective diplomatic approach based on moderation, determination and perseverance, with the ultimate goal of caring for the higher interests of the homeland and its citizens first and foremost.
The minister praised the sincere and dedicated efforts made by heads of diplomatic missions, the ministry’s employees, diplomats and administrators at home and abroad.
