MP Al-Dhaen heaps praise on Bahrain’s diplomatic triumphs

On the occasion of Bahrain’s Diplomatic Day, MP Dr. Maryam Al-Dhaen, Vice President of the Foreign Affairs, Defence, and National Security Committee of the House of Representatives, lauded Bahrain’s enduring legacy of diplomatic excellence.
Al-Dhaen emphasized that Bahrain’s parliamentary diplomacy, guided by the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and under the watchful eye of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, supports international partnerships, fosters cooperation, and upholds values of coexistence and tolerance.
Highlighting the significance of the day, Al-Dhaen underscored Bahrain’s numerous regional and international successes in diplomatic relations. She praised the pivotal role played by Bahraini diplomacy in fortifying ties with brotherly and friendly nations, acknowledging the dedicated efforts of the national cadres at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in developing cooperative relations.
Al-Dhaen expressed gratitude for the impactful training programs, including the “Accredited Program for Parliamentary Diplomacy,” offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies. These programs empower parliamentarians to act as ambassadors for Bahrain, contributing to international peace and security while addressing global challenges through diplomatic solutions.
As Bahrain celebrates over fifty years of diplomatic achievements, Al-Dhaen reiterated the nation’s commitment to promoting solidarity, fraternity, and constructive cooperation on the global stage. The MP extended her appreciation to key figures, including His Excellency Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, for their active roles in advancing Bahrain’s diplomatic endeavours, fostering a legacy of peace and security worldwide.
