HM King Hamad praises victorious Bahrain Royal Guard boxing team

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, congratulated the Royal Guard team members for winning the Royal Rumble Boxing Championship held in December.
The achievement in the championship, which was organised by the Bahrain Boxing Federation and the Bahrain Rugby Football Club, came as an addition to the Kingdom’s track record of sports achievements.
HM the King praised the team’s outstanding performance during the championship, wishing them further success in upcoming competitions. This came as His Majesty King Hamad received His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA) and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC).
His Highness presented the Bahrain’s Royal Guard team members. His Highness Shaikh Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Personal Representative, was present. His Majesty the King commended the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the development of the sports sector.
His Majesty also praised Bahraini athletes for their dedication and achievements. HH Shaikh Khalid thanked HM the King for supporting the development of Bahraini sports, which contributed to outstanding results and success.
