iGA showcases digital transformation initiatives in line with Bahrain’s vision

Information & eGovernment Authority (iGA) is committed to fulfilling the Bahrain government’s vision for rapid digital transformation and investment in advanced technologies.
This is in line with the directives of His Excellency General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Minister of Interior and Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Information and Communication Technology (MCICT), to continue the iGA’s collaboration with other government entities to enhance public services and improve quality of life for citizens, residents, and business owners.
This comes as the iGA Deputy CE of Electronic Transformation, Dr. Zakariya AlKhajah, received the Slovak Republic’s Head of Spatial Planning and Construction Authority, Martin Hypky, and his delegation during an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Dr. Zakariya welcomed the visitors, adding that such engagements strengthen bilateral relations and facilitate the exchange of expertise in areas such as digital transformation, data accuracy, technology integration, and innovation.
Electronic integration Dr. Zakariya and his team showcased Bahrain’s digital transformation journey, including the ‘Benayat’ and ‘Planning’ platforms, which enhanced electronic integration between government operations.
The meeting also discussed ‘Sijilat’ and the Al-Tajer application, which allow investors to explore the features of Bahrain’s business environment.
