The Sacred Heart Church in Manama is buzzing with excitement as it prepares to host its much-anticipated Family Day and solemn mass celebration on February 9. This year, the event is themed “Reaching for Hope, Branching Together,” emphasizing the unity and togetherness of the community.
The community-focused event aims to bring together families, friends, and congregants in a joyous celebration of unity, love, and faith. H.E. Bishop Aldo Berardi, O.SS.T., Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia, encouraged everyone to “flourish together, love each other, and come together to enjoy and celebrate unity in one Lord and spirit in the patroness of Our Lady of Arabia.”
“We are the people of one God; therefore, we are one family. We may come from different countries, speak different languages, and uphold diverse cultures and traditions, but we are brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ as one family. This family day is an opportunity to express the spirit of Christ as one family.
I take this opportunity to invite all of you to Family Day 2024,” expressed the parish priest of Sacred Heart Church, Fr. Francis Padavupurackkal Joseph. The Family Day celebration is scheduled to take place within the church premises, starting at 8 a.m. and continuing throughout the day.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including cultural performances, musical acts, games, and more.
